So, $2.40 per Gh/s. Doesn't include PSU and host controller or shipping?

Isnt a mBTC = .001, so 10 mBTC = .01 BTC

and .01 * $522 = $5.22 per unit of 32 GH  so it would be around .16 USD per GH.  Which seems somewhat unbelievable so i am sure i made some incredibly stupid error somewhere in there.

and about 1.3W/GH?  Not super power efficient - this can't be 28 nm tech can it?

Of course the website says out of stock so all this is moot.  At the price they posted, i would order some for giggles..

$1/GH/2W
or
$2/GH/1W   (personally i think $1.50/GH/W would be fair for products like the SP10 and S2)

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

Also, it's hard to even make hardware at that cost, let alone sell it with a profit.

Bulk purchasing can take average shipping fee down,
Furthermore,we have lots of resellers over the world, people can buy R-BOX from them who are colse to you,so shipping fee may cut down.

Scale effect of economics always exists in large miners, but we are not focusing on ROI only.
As we said,R-BOX designed to focus on mining experience, which means affordable total price, suitable size(neither large nor small), more quietly working fan, etc.

These are interesting but maybe a little expensive as noted above.
I don't think I saw in the thread, what mining software will run these units?

Cgminer

Our Units arrived today.

Some notes:
Units are shrink wrap sealed, very nice touch.
Each Unit comes with 1 USB cable, and a DC Barrel > Bare wire connector

Overall, very pleased!

The packaging apparently is the best part because the product is crap. Do resellers ever feel guilt peddling this garbage? Would you sell it to a friend or family member in good faith? I hope not.

I don't think I could give these away for free if I wanted to.

40-50 Watts for these guys is worst than 3 of my energy saving lightbulbs, and is supposed to run 24 hours a day.

I still don't know what the purpose of these particular miners are yet.  Not enough hash, not enough power efficiency, and at a high pricetag($2.40 per GH).  Can't scale large enough to be profitable, can't really run without more than several, and need a host computer on at all times.

Guess, novelty item, maybe.
