No one is going to make a GPU miner for another generic coin with randomized algorithm and 3 pages worth posts with a stranger author claiming to give 10 BTC for the miner.

Yeah -- agreed the nerds are dumb desperate miners selling their coins cheap to save a few seconds, but they're not that dumb when it comes to computers.
