will not be a matter  of hours .... but a matter of WORK and i like the experimental approach of this coin.

I'm new and I'm still trying to learn. I think it's fascinating watching this coin grow. I also own some 10k, but I don't have any BALLS ( that sounds bad ). I'm looking forward to seeing how the new coin turns out. Anyway, that's a little about me. I'm not really in it for the money either ( although a fat profit wouldn't bother me ). Right now I'm just here to learn.

I'm glad you guys appreciate the approach. It may not always be successful the first time, but we have now (with 10k and BALLS) shown exactly what the Peercoin-based PoS system can and cannot do, with regards to supply and performance. If you notice, each version of our coins runs differently. MMXIV and BALLS run very lightweight, while 10k is a resource monster. All based on the same code base, but each answers very, very different questions

Oh yes. Then we swapped to this chain with 2014 coins TOTAL from mining and started with 50% yearly PoS (which people hated). Switched the ticker to M when we name-changed to Maieuticoin (again, hated), then back to MMXIV. The story of how we got to where we are now is a long one, indeed. We are almost at MMXIV's first birthday, too! May 25th, I believe, is when we launched the original client

So to be clear: Even during the worst part of the last price-drop, the amount of coins, created in return, out-weighted the loss and generated profit for me (to be exact more than 10% a day). You have to stop moving your coins around and give them time to settle, to let some exponential effect take place.  As MMXIV was only 2014 coins, the coin suffered from the lag of ability, to spread out to a larger user base. No fans and users means not to have enough people, to get interested in a currency. It could not stay alive in the long run. This process results in a very very slow death and it killed nearly all of the "rare-coins", that have ever exit. I can't think of a more genius method, to transient into a broader audience, than this staking concept. The mathematic of this process is obvious: Everybody, that stays staking, does not only makes constant descend profit, but will profit even more each day. The profit even explodes, if the price would drop more. Which other coin did that before? None! Couldn't be better. Future is bright, do the maths! Its always the indirect processes and the exponential effects, that most people failed to see and that created every rich person in history .....
