So, i will have double sum v2 than i own on sum v1?, how will be them distributed?
Yes, As stated in the OP the dev will explain how the switch will happen. He has experience in swapping coins so I'm confident it will go without much problems. Ty, thats a good thing |

I`m 99% sure it because of announce. I see price rises from 200 to 400 in few minutes. Someone put 1+ BTC orders but removed. I`ve Bought 30K SUM for myself to support UP trend  |

Will SUMv1 be alive after v2 launch ?
Or we all must think its abandoned and forget about it ?
There is another coin called BEECOIN, currently being swapped to BEECOINV2, because of better algorithm, POS and coinage. After the swap BEECOIN will be non existent, because they would have all been swapped to BEECOINV2. The same fate awaits SUMv1, after complete swap to SUMv2. I'm guessing you own BEECOIN? How did the switch pan out? And what influence did it have on the price? Price is still the same, because swap process is on-going, till the end of May. We also need a new exchange and more exposure, for the price to skyrocket. |

I think that too. A little bit of cheap SUMs for 200sat on bittrex. Good to see rising buying support. Hold Your coins people, the real rally haven't even started yet!  |

I've been mining summercoin from the minute it launched, then staked continuously, seen the original dev run from this beautiful coin.
I've been reading the summercoin threads each day with my eyes full of hope.
Now i am thankful to soopy, greeedyjohn, btcms and all the others(sorry for not remembering each user who made efforts, but i do appreciate you guys!) who kept their faith and revived summercoin.
Now i am trying to rally up more funds to buy more summercoin and later on mine summercoin again with my humble but trusty 270x.
Big thank you to all of you guys!
PS: as soon as i get home i will donate to the foundation, as everyone who hold to their coins should.

Thank you Soopy, GPUminer, Strugg and GreedyJohn (appreciate you non stop dedicated promotion!). I am always willing to donate as I hold a little bag of SUM.
Summer Version2 is good idea, but I just wanted to explore the risk factor if we are going to kill the Summer Version1. We have the Version 1 listed in a very good exchange (Bittrex) already. If we are coming up with a brand new Version 2, we will have to start from the bottom - which is okay too. How about reaching out to Bittrex asap, inform/discuss with them about upcoming version and possibility to swap the listing? If they agree, then it would be great. If Bittrex is not willing to swap the listing, we may need to think again. What do you guys say?

SUM2 already have a head start with a community and foundation even before its launch. IMO, that is better than most new coin so SUM2 has very good potential to hold great value.
