Download latest version (Windows):

    guiminer-20110824.exe

Older versions:

    guiminer-20110701.exe (self-extracting archive)
    Archived versions

so far as i can see:

guiminer-20110824.exe seems to be the poclbm-broken-one

guiminer-20110701.exe is poclbm-o.k. and does his good mining-job  Grin

Is the Radeon Catalyst 12.1 driver package a possible source of the problem?
Haven't been receiving shares for two days, upgraded to catalyst 12.1 64 bit around that time.

Is anyone experiencing problems without having recently upgraded?

Edit: Ah... Nvm, poclbm bug.   Smiley

its because 11.12+ uses sdk 2.6 which is terrible. just dont install the sdk and use the one from 11.1 or whatever one you prefer to use (sdk 2.1)

My settings for cgminer and phoenix aren't perfect, but for some reason to reach the same mh/s that was getting from OpenCL my wattage increase is like 20% from normal.

I'm really surprised at how little chatter this thread has. You would think a TON of people would have this problem.

A lot of them perhaps got tired of waiting and moved to cgminer instead.

ssshhhhh
Everyone keeps quiet hoping that no one would notice the problem, maybe lowering the difficulty a bit.

Joking, of course. I hope a windows fix is on the way for poclbm... Phoenix is killing me with high stales.

I'm curious what is considered "high stales" my 6870's are getting 0.14% - 0.16% stales, and the 6950's are ~0.19% on phoenix for the last 27,000 shares. When i ran poclbm i honestly think it was about the same % of stales, i never paid much attention to it to be honest.

I have been having this problem also.  My miners work for a while then stop.

I don't know why this is the first time I saw this thread.  I am trying to switch to cgminer but I can't get that to work at all.  It will detect my cards but not much more.

Can't someone please update Guiminer for 2012? It's a super beloved mining program and I don't see myself switching to cgminer or linux anytime ever.

cgminer runs fine in windows, and if you tweak the config file you don't even have to open a command prompt. Just double-click cgminer.exe and it will auto-load the config and start mining.

one last time for the handycapped

Guiminer is just a graphical inter face to other miners

up date it yourself
replace the cgminer ... phonex ... what ever to the latest versions

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GUI

Let me rephrase my wish. Can somebody please write a new poclbm kernel that works with the gui? Much appreciated.

Yes, that's what I would want, too. I want to use guiminer and at the moment it works only with the phoenix-miner but that has only half the hashrate.

My antivirus program reports that there is a virus in that file when I download it (TR/Monitor.A.1).

It's a false positive based on the chance that it's a payload in a Trojan Horse.
