Hi all, I'm trying to get into GPU mining so I can mine Scrypt-N and X11, but there are so many cards out there, does anyone have a suggestion as to which model gives the best hashing rate for the price?

Really depends on if you can find a deal, GPU's people are getting rid of ton's on Ebay (myself was included).  Ask seller for invoice so you can try to RMA if ever needed.

But I would really suggest doing some math on it before getting to far into GPU's at this point.  Summer is here, make sure to include cooling into mix.

Thanks, that's why I'm looking to mine coins with X11 Algo, the cards use half the power and don't heat up. I know the Radeon ones are the best, but not sure which one gives the best hashing rate for the price. Some cards are very expensive but may give about the same hashing rate as one GPU that is half the price, I'm just looking to know which one is the best model.

Just for mining X11 I would suggest to look at Nvidia 750Ti. You can get up to 2.2Mhash/card with very low power consumption (~40 W). Also these cards are quite cheap.
I have one rig with 4 of them and I wish I had more.

Wow thanks Carloss, these are really cheap they run at only around $150.
