Just wanted to say hello to all and introduce our website http://www.stargems.info

I am a gemstone trader/cutter/polisher with over 8 years of experience in the industry. I have a good access to uncut tanzanite, peridot, zircon and aquamarine and others, as well as polished stones made to size. We will soon be launching our new online store accepting bitcoin for our stones and services.

Online store system for orders coming soon.

Best Regards

Jack

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

yes, i would love to see more merchants accepting other crypto-currencies. one way to go about it would be to set up an account with CoinPayments.net in the same way that you would for bitcoin with Bitpay or Coinbase.

would love to see more information about your site and plans -- my wife is very interested! Grin

Thank you all for your feedback and support.
We are just finishing registrations and finance proceedings in the UK. If everything goes as planned, we should be able to launch our online store in the next month.
We will accept paypal, bank transfer and bitcoin/litecoin payments to start with. We will be using CoinPayments.net. Thank you.

Sure, I could polish it for you, we use silicon and aluminium oxides. It may lose a little weight but nothing to be concerned about really. You would need to wait for our official launch. Thank you

Coins are really popular here for physical wallets anymore.  Depending on what product was a physical wallet coin out of certain stone could be pretty neat if turned out nice on shape and etching and depending on price.

This could be a great or horrible idea I know nothing about cutting stones.

Both your "portfolio" page (http://stargems.info/portfolio.html) and "store" page (http://stargems.info/news.html) are currently empty. Maybe you should start updating the two pages...

Well, it can be done two ways. 1. You could have the stone carved but that will take days to complete and it might cost more than the actual stone, depending on the stone material. 2.You can have the stone laser engraved, but personally, I have never heard about jewelry laser engraved stones, only crystalline. Either way, I won't be able to create such a piece, it requires techniques I am not familiar with.
