I've been doing a lot of bitcoin kamikaze recently... but something funny I notice: http://i52.tinypic.com/1674idx.pngI can almost ALWAYS do that on freeplay, but never when I bet even 0.01...

Why the House Always Wins"Researchers analyzed 27 million online poker hands and found an interesting result: the more hands a player wins, the less money they're likely to collect. The reason, the researchers believe, is that multiple wins are more likely to yield small stakes-but to get those wins, you have to play long enough, and the longer you play the more likely you are to suffer occasional big loses. Turns out, those occasional loses are enough to negate and often exceed the wins. One takeaway from the study is that online gamblers misjudge the variance and uncertainty of the payoffs derived from taking risks, mainly because multiple small wins inflate the players' sense of success." That's not the only reason of course...

That seems like a pretty obvious result. Poker players tend to lose, and tend to lose more the more hands they play. You don't get to win a lot of hands without playing a lot of hands, and losing a lot of hands.

Since everyone else is pitching, I might as well too Try StrikeSapphire if you're not in the US. A lot of our original games like "Scuba Cube" and "Sapphire Rummy" have a 100% average return-to-player if played skillfully. Plus we've got roulette from $0.01 up to $50 (with silver VIP status). Also, blackjack, 3 card poker, multiplayer craps, keno, slots, and poker (of course).
