The price of wireless internet

  Friends,

  Help!  The apartment complex that I live in has Dish Network that comes with the rent, but they want $50/month for wireless internet and I would have to pay for the router as well.  Not only that, but I'd have a two year commitment that I'd have to deal with.  Does anyone know where I can get cheap internet service?  The signal from the clubhouse is weak, but sometimes I can tap into it.  Thanks for your help!
