For those that still need it, we have just uploaded a 32 bit Linux wallet to the website.  We hope to have a 64-bit one soon.  We are going to wait a week or two for things to stabilize before launching the Android wallet.

The minerspool.com pool has found 11 blocks so far.  Need more hashing power in the pools.  I have not heard anything from the other two pools as to their status.

We just tried to connect with a laptop to check it out and it worked fine using MinerD version 1.2c using this simple batch file (assuming you already have your wallet and config file set up).  then we got a few coins in a few minutes, just with our laptop.....

Everyone, we need more nodes. That's the reason pools are finding so many orphans, because the wallet stops syncing and it needs to be restarted.
We've found that the wallet is getting a lot of timeouts when trying to contact nodes, so, please everyone who's running a wallet please add server=1 to your .conf file.

There are now 6 pools up and running and listed on the main announcement page.  Keep in mind that these are not run and maintained by the GroinCoin Team.  We are happy they are here and supporting everyone's effort.  Please contact the individual mining pools if you have questions about getting set up with one of them. 

FYI, we are working on our own dedicated GXG pool, not sure when we will have it up.  The urgency is not there with so many others up.  We will make an announcement when it is ready and tested.

Nodes updated, so far, so good, the wallet doesn't seem to be getting stuck anymore.

Thanks all for your support.  Right now, we are running pretty smooth it appears.  Network hash rate appears to be stabilizing between 250MH/s - 300MH/s.  Please do not let that scare you off if you are just CPU mining.  When we were running about 500 MH/s, we put a laptop on one of the pools and were able to bring in about 25 GXG every 2 hours. So by design, the little guy does have a chance with GXG and the pools.

We are pleased that we have 6 pools up now.  We will now start working on some exchanges to get listed on.  Of course, any help with these is always appreciated.  Many of them are by vote unfortunately now - so your help is needed.  As we add any of these, we will list and announce them.  Again, thanks for your support and happy mining!

Some preliminary good news.  We have at least one Exchange that has agreed to list Groin Coin without the voting process.  Once we are listed there, we will post it to this thread and to our Twitter account.
