It was suggested I move this over here from the beginner help section so some of this is cut and past.

We have a friend who acquired a bunch of odd BTC mining gear on a budget. As such it is a lot different from the KnC's and BFL's we are running, so we are not sure what to do with it. Unfortunately he came to us looking for help and I am now a bit lost. Of course I thought it would be a piece of cake before we started this...

He has 8 Garden Blade Miners. They seem to power up OK, but I can not for the life of me log into them. I have scanned every IP after setting them up on a private net from 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255 and I can not find the damned things. IP listed on the sticker is 192.168.1.201 port 10000.

Dose anyone know anything about them, or how to default them to factory settings, and what the factory default IP would be so we could get into them and set them up?

The basics seem simple enough, they just are not working. I did set them up on a closed network with a range of 10.0.0.1 to 10.0.1.255 and scanned that. In that range I did manage to find the IP's they were at. Knowing the IP's I thought it would be easy to simply type the IP (I.E. 10.0.0.117:10000) into a we browser and log in to the interface to change the IP and pool settings. No such luck. They seem to be active, and we can now see the IP's, but as of yet it will not let us log in...Sad

Makes me happy all of ours are Block Erupter, BFL, and KnC units.

Been there, and anywhere else I could find, though it was a lot less than I had hoped for. I have managed to find the IP of the devices, but for the life of me can not log into them as is described in all the sites that talk about them. Can't help but wounder what the heck I'm missing. Gotta be something simple and stupid...

Maybe not really helping but why set your device to 10.0.0.1 to 10.0.1.255 when the blade is on 192.168.1.201?
Why not 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.255 ?

Blades IP shows up in the 10.0.0.216+ range, even though the IP's on the second set of stickers shows they are supposed to be in the 192.168.1 range. If I can ever log into the darn things that will change.
