I would like to also collect all the "sent to addresses" just in case.  Please verify the sent to addresses in the OP and let me know the ones I do not have and correct those that are incorrect.  Thanks.

Well, when he was looking to "Buy" my pc, he did say he lived on the OC. I know a few others here are from that area. If we get an address, I would drive over with a few and explain to his parents what has gone on.

Please respond to my PM's.

Who do you want to respond?

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

I confirm my address in the OP.
I believe that is your repayment address?  I really want the address you sent the coins to for the loan.  Take a look at it, I don't think this is one of his, more likely yours:  https://blockexplorer.com/address/17RiZ1eaAB9e29kuTxTh8UdPyWSiisAyaZ

Please give me the address you sent your coins to.

Sorry, didn't mean for that to be unclear and I know this isn't the place for it... just having trouble getting shakaru to respond to me.

Interesting thread. Glad people here go after those who have screwed them.  On a related note Orange County, California has small claims court. If someone really wanted to cause a headache and was owed more than $300 you could sue the crap out of him/her.

He seems like someone who was impersonated by the "bitcointalk kujoking" due to his established, reputable online identity, although they might be the same person.

I was not insulted at all - we all got scammed by a kid.  We are still going to go after him and his parent.

We got scammed - true.

Hindsight is useful, and it also helps inform users (both sides) what the rules of the game are like.  This is a very new activity and while I have lost quite a lot, I am fortunate it is manageable.  Maybe I'm too nice.

Wild, dark times are rumbling toward us, and the prophet who wishes to write a new apocalypse will have to invent entirely new beasts, and beasts so terrible that the ancient animal symbols of St. John will seem like cooing doves and cupids in comparison.
