Can everyone upvote this comment and the topic on reddit so this statement is at the top rather than a misunderstanding about encrypted phonecalls lol.

Also synechist, maybe edit it to include the latest news ?

Yes the atms will transfer xc and bitcoins exclusively, the one wallet card will be provided from the atm or any merchant that is affiliated with diamond circle the manufacturer.

All I can say is... wow.

And Antoun and Samuel are the guys who introduced the first BTC ATM's in Europe and UK... XC is happening... now.

Well, I suppose the interesting thing is that no-one can deny the possibility of that. But then again, no other coins who hire anyone can either. ;-)

However, let's not commit the error of getting more excited than the available information warrants.

I'm not hereby setting you up for disappointment.

Just not hyping.

Alright I think we are done with the blockchain posts, remember we have a truce with dark so let's not get to situation where we need a truce with another coin no matter how legitmate the concerns. Let's focus on developing xc.
Agreed, lets get back to business.

Is Rev 2 still being tested on irc, anyone know how everythings been going?  Teka or anyone else from team XC, have their been discussions on how much the bounty will be for anyone who can trace transactions once the new wallet/app is released and how we will get the word out to the world of what's been accomplished?

Anyone know what the plan is for the additional $500 PR donation that was made for when Rev 2 is released?
I was testing with atc earlier.. have not seen him back on since
Testing was a success?
do you want me to tell you the facts, or do you want me to tell you what you want to hear? (sorry for sarcasm).  I was not able to send a transaction through the mixer.  I had the address returned and all the commands proper.  We did some troubleshooting but I had to run shortly after to pick up my son.  Someone here I read claimed it did not work because I launched from the .exe and not the .bat.  I can tell you this is NOT true.  The correct .bat with the correct -flags were used. I am a tech dude..not some newbie.

When I returned, I saw evidence of a mixer transaction that DID work as intended.  I believe it IS working under some circumstances, but there are some minor issues that need to be sorted out.  This is likely why the release was delayed, and put on testnet..

Hey though, at least we didnt fork. The network is still 100% stable, and we know with ATC on board its only a matter of time until the MINOR issues are resolved and we have a 100% functional DECENTRALIZED MIXER.
Dan made it work with the help of a member. Im pretty sure the problem was a port that had to be forwarded(maybe through the router). Dan looked really pleased with the results, but he said he will have better results with next release, the testing helped a lot.

I know this was a few pages back but dang there is a lot going on in this forum!
Yes it did work after I forwarded port 32348 in my router to the computer running XC app. I would say Dan was happy.  Smiley

Hello everyone

On the development front, it's time to introduce our next team member, and this should be an interesting surprise.

Christian Howe has in fact had a role in XC at its very beginning.

He worked with Dan in creating Rev 1 Xnodes, the foundation of the XC protocol.

He's a C++ expert and is responsible for some of the building blocks of XC's ground-breaking technology.

XC is growing at a phenomenal pace. The team must grow to meet the challenge of bringing XC to the world, and yet to continue to deliver the quality we've come to represent it's crucial that we attract the very best of developers.

Christian is now on the team in an official capacity. Expect to see more superb dev work from him in future.

More good news, vital to have a strong dev "team" you can see where other coins have struggled and IMO it is down to a pool of dev's that is just not large enough for a major project...

Welcome back Christian...

Hey guys, nothing against XC but I'm also not invested in it at the moment (mostly in CLOAK). Anyway on the CloakCoin thread a guy just posted some random news about your coin with no context or discussion. Didn't make your community or coin look very good from the outside looking in. I'm not saying it's not a good coin, but the devs or somebody should really outline what kind of community and marketing you guys want going forward because that behavior just makes me look elsewhere with my money. And I'm sure I'm not the only one.

While you are around synechist, will we be getting an announcement with a rough plan of "how" the team intends to roll out REV 2 with a loose timescale?

I may have missed it but I am not sure what the plans are with regard to this at the moment...

There's assholes everywhere, not a lot anyone can do to stop them posting.
