Maybe a docier or 'rules of xcurrency community'... as a foundation would be helpful.  I know dogecoin could never get this together, but would have helped.

Ex:
1. Be good to each other.
2. No FUD here or other forums.
3. Answer FUD with facts, not emotion.
4......

Yes, this would be valuable.

How about this?

1. Be good to each other
2. Be gracious to "enemies"
3. Completely ignore spam, FUD, and abusive comments
4. If you respond to anything with the above in it, erase the offending remarks from your reply before posting, because leaving it in will allow it to incite further offense. (Also Teka might delete your post.)
5. Don't ever spread FUD elsewhere. Respect other projects. XC doesn't need to compete with them; it's strong enough on its own.
6. Be patient with newbies. There'll be a lot of them arriving as XC grows.
7. The way you treat people makes up 95% of what's relevant in a post; the information supplied is 5%.
8. The way XC appears to the world depends on the way you are to other people.
9. Be aware of the difference between what you perceive and what you infer from your perceptions (e.g. statements vs. the intentions suggested by statements).
10. You devalue yourself by being aggressive/insulting/etc.
11. If we don't treat opponents well, then we just take on their mode of interacting instead of imparting our mode of interacting.
12. So be good to each other.

X1000. Brilliant.

Just look how Doge did so well for this one simple reason... Great, helpful, nice community. Maybe we could get the doge crew onboard if they fancy being nice and also making a bit of money at the same time lol.

Correct.  I think the new appdata folder changed to xcurrency though.

[drive]:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\XCurrency\

Also, you might need to redownload the blockchain when setting this new client up so don't fret if your coins aren't there until the blockchain updates.

It's a lot faster if you just move the blockchain from the old folder.

Some topics we can discuss;

- XCurrency giftcards (scratch for after launch)
- our own api system (if this still is not in The works)
- getting a trollboxes team together
- anti-FUD campagne
- give feedback on USP's (Unique selling points)

Circle jerking is not my thing Cheesy be productive

Haha, an XC "trollbox team."

Win.

Am in if this means i can trow the banhammer

Let's do this in the official forum. You're all free to create topics in some places right?

I got an error when I tried that last night from the new client, had to delete old blk*.dat files and redownload the BC.  All working well now... so you still might have to sync even after trying that.

The first time I tried it last night it spit an error at me as well I think it might have been because I copied them, then I moved them and it work perfect. When you have multiple wallets it can be a pain to sit and wait when all you want to do is give the new feature a try

I'll be on here and in the XC forums later today to discuss this and some of the ideas SushiChef posted.

The team has made great progress, it sounds like the community is about to do the same.

I unlocked my wallet with "for staking only" checked.  Yet, it still allowed me to send 1 XC?

I'm using the most recent wallet on windows, XC-v0.9.2.3.
