Posting it here as well; sorry for double-post but traders might be interested. New user "Randall" just messaged me about the classic page working:

https://classic.mtgox.com/

It has the old "StartCom" signed key... doing a tracert shows that it is a different server: 72.52.5.81, also at prolexic, so I guess it's legit?

Yes, working properly with my yubikey, and my funds are there as well. Legit! Thanks for letting us know!

Nope, that's really where you can see it.  But I guess that's not what you wanted, just what you asked for.

Actually, he asked which page he sees each day. Unless you have cameras in his room, you probably don't know! I'm guessing it's not support.

My bad... his translations are tough to decipher at times.

I actually did see that warning a little after it was posted, only by luck, people only check the support page if there's a problem... not for a maintenance schedule. This kind of stuff should be on gox frontpage.

Besides that this downtime is unrelated to the maintenance or the maintenance message was incorrect.

It is now UTC 16:41 (a good 8 hours after maintenance) and we've had no service at all for the past 4 hours at least... this is hardly "intermittent periods of latency". Gox is shit

I think an email should be sent to all the users, or atleast active users for 1 week.

Are you fucking serious? Im sick of smart asses like you saying shit like that, I'm not saying I can do better, Im saying Im paying for a service that I think thus far Isnt fully worth the money. Fact of the matter is the mtgox system is now great, I love it, yubikeys great, falling fees with higher volume great, api great once it gets all the bugs out, they just need to stop making stupid mistakes like blocking half their customers and thus giving the other half an advantage in trading.
