SERIES 1, Rare coin. Similar to Casascius Series 1 Bitcoins, Lealana produced a limited number of 2,000 of the series 1 coins. 1LTC – Nickel coated brass coin, 29.972mm diameter, 2,000 minted with series 1 sticker (no overprinted serial on the hologram), 8,000 minted with series 2 stickers. They sold out quickly and are no longer available from Lealana. These are considerably more rare and are worth more than the Series 2 coins. Series 2 coins are now serialized with numbers printed on the holograms (above the "L") running from 1-10,000, while Series 1 coins are not serialized. (Every coin has a different unique coin address visible in the window under the "L").
Lealana coins, pronounced (LAY-UH-LANA), are made in the US and all feature a security hologram which is tamper evident on the back. Underneath the hologram is the private key in order to spend or transfer the litecoins attached. The coin is brass and silver color .The rear side contains a security hologram which is really pretty to look at in varying angles as the vibrant colors change in multiple hues. There is nice 3D depth to it as well.
