The relative Value of the 5970?

I'm an avid Deal finder, and I tend to find some really good deals, either on Craigslist, or somewhere else. Here is what I've gotten in the habit of doing: pretty much every piece of new hardware I pick up is then listed on Amazon.com What this has led to is confirmation that people are truly stupid.

In the last month alone, I've owned 3 5970's (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1699455722435&set=a.1008974860845.69822.1119150251&type=1)
I've sold all three of them for $140-$360 profit each.
How? Easy. I paid $620 each for two, and $400 for the third. I listed all three for $800 on amazon. All three sold in the past week.

I've also done this in the past with older hardware as well, namely a 9800GX2, an ancient ati 2600HD, a 5870, a g15 keyboard, an AMD 9950, and various other things, all used, all for profit.

So before you go and list that 5970 on CL, consider listing it on Amazon.

Well, I found newegg willing to sell 5870x2's for 599 each! ($799 with a free ASUS Sabertooth X58 LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard)

I'm thinking super profit on mining till I sell those things!

My exit plan for mining is still unsettled---I can't decide between keeping my 5970 for gaming, and reselling it for moneyz (and buying a less super-powered video card). Since I wouldn't have bought it just for gaming in the first place, keeping it just for gaming seems like nothing more than the endowment effect---but then again the added time cost of finding a buyer and possibly shipping, not to mention reconfiguring my machine, makes this not so obvious. I guess I'll just see what a heavily used 5970 is going for once I'm pushed out of the mining business.
