How time logged in is related to activity? they have nothing in common!

Not sure if you're asking or telling, but they are not related or have anything in common. Time logged in is just your active browsing time and activity is how many two week periods you've posted in.

OP, I see you created your account in 2011  But If you didn't post any posts for a long time of period and came back here not long time ago you will get 14 activity every 2 week period (14 days) If you post at least 1 post in those 2 week period, that will get you 14 activity even If you have to low post count you can add It up any time and activity will add up also but If you do not make at least 1 post in that 2 week period you'll "lose'' 14 activity for those 2 weeks.

Now, I'm a member and I have over 100+ posts, the time I've spent on this board is like an hour and some change but I know it's been longer. I usually even have this tab open to the main index of the board, so I know I'm spending a longer time than that on this board. How does the activity and the ranks work out in that way? Does the time have to equal the amount of time I've posted? I know there's a simple equation but to me it doesn't make sense since I've been signed in almost constantly for the past couple days, I surely should have way more time logged in then this.

Can I get some help here?

If you create your account a few years back and post a lot, they will only be counted in the two weeks period that you posted. The formula to calculate activity is:
time = number of ACTIVE two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)
You wasn't active for a lot of two weeks period so your activity will not increase.

Thank you, yeah sadly for a long while I definitely wasn't very active in the community and had really nothing and wanted nothing to do with bitcoin. Also I'm pretty bad at posting in forums as well, but you guys are all very informative thank you so much for all the answers. Yeah I started this in 2011 thinking I could earn some bitcoin somehow, and I needed a community to guide me.
