Yes, thank you for sending the BTC back without a transaction fee, therefore making byt111 wait a couple of hours or days Roll Eyes

Oh jeez. The qt client didn't ask for one, and I've sent plenty of transactions to exchanges and things and it's never been a problem before! Will it really take a couple of days? I'm trying hard to undo my faux pas guys, but it seems you really don't like me. How can I make this right? Sad

I'll scurry off out of this unfriendly forum section as soon as everyone has their funds back. I'm sorry for being a pain in the ass noob. Please try and be a little patient, everyone had to learn sometime. Looks like I get to be schooled in an embarrassingly public way. Embarrassed

Edit: I'll even send the funds to you again monbux, and you can just repay me the 0.05btc that's not going to be confirmed for days when it finally confirms, if that works? Just let me know how I add a transaction fee.

Monbux, can't you be just a little bit nicer? You can see I'm trying to do the right thing here can't you? I'm not very experienced with using Bitcoins that is pretty obvious, but there's no need to be so harsh about it.  Sad

Wait, what am I doing that is mean? Huh  lol I'm serious about this one :O
And I don't USE the QT wallet, although I believe you are allowed to choose your own fee.  Make it 0.0001 BTC.

You basically implied I sent the transaction without a transaction fee on purpose, then ignored my request for help on how to set the transaction fee and did the sarcastic rolling eyes smiley, even though I paid you 0.005BTC for 2 minutes work just because I felt bad for being a pain in the butt. I'm a noob, I was just looking for a little guidance on how it works. I just know I would be more friendly to someone who was clearly trying, even if they were making a few mistakes.

Anyway, I've figured it out, and have sent you a second 0.05BTC payment with a transaction fee.

Please send back the original 0.05BTC when it confirms, and send my 3LTC to LYFAA4A3Wff573vY1a9BZHALdQbHRKrL4b. Thanks.  Undecided

So excuse my ignorance again, but how do you send BTC without using the qt wallet? You only use online wallets?

I use blockchain.info.  Other than that, I have paper wallets, I do not use the QT wallet because I'll have to wait for it to sync Tongue
Blockchain already suits my needs, and it's faster as well, no need to sync with the network on your computer.

The original 0.055BTC transaction is now also confirmed. Funny how I had "45 minutes" to send the BTC or you will liquidate my LTC, and I get told to send a second BTC transaction as the first is too slow, yet you are still holding both my BTC and LTC hours later after the original "slow" BTC transaction has confirmed.  Roll Eyes

The problem is you wasted people's time. I warned you but you didn't listen. Buying trust is not the same as buying a sandwich and you are very lucky you don't have several negatives. I sincerely hope you learned from this experience and won't try trust buying again.
I am sure you will get your funds back, just exercise a little patience.

When the subject of buying BTC with Paypal comes up, I often remember this:

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Yes indeed, and I'm sorry for that, hence why I tipped monbux 0.005BTC for the hassle. Lesson learned that's for sure. My days in the lending section are over methinks, I'll stick to mining it's less stressful. Smiley

There are other wallets, such as Multibit (which I don't recommend) and Electrum, which I personally use.
QT wallet is annoying, since you have to sync blocks and download them. You don't have to do so in Electrum.
