If the countdown is correct, the launch time posted in the announcement is incorrect. The countdown has ~3 hours 10 minutes left, which makes the launch time 19:30 GMT, not 20:30 GMT as stated in the OP. |

I can disable the check in the MPOS software, so any address is accepted.
But it's risky, if someone forgets to change his address and setups auto payout.
You can register at our pool, when the wallet is released.
you can provide only stratum address and port, i have 15 rigs and i need 5-10 min to configure them. I don't want waste my time on this at launch. |

Hey there, coin looks ok, just got a couple of questions for you.
1. So this is 7 day POW and no POS?
2. What is the RPC port?
3. Is the roaming folder going to be "Cloakcoin"?
4. Will the wallet be released on launch or 15 minutes early with password?
5. Where will you be uploading the wallet?
6. Will the wallet have nodes?

According to the countdown he posted here and on the OP, the launch time is 19:30 GMT which is 20:30 BST (Or in 2 hours 29 minutes) At the top of the OP he's typed out 20:30 GMT which I think is a mistake, I think it's 19:30 GMT which is 20:30 BST. |

RPC port can be whatever you want, its the port your machine will use to connect to the wallet - so just pick an open port on your network and keep it consistent. I use the same config for all new launches, just change the addnodes. Solomining mindblown, eh?  Cool, thanks! I love learning something new. Hopefully I'll get it working this time, third time lucky. Whenever I normally try I just get "Waiting for work from the pool" |

ShockPools will open for registration as soon as the wallet source is available and compiled. What cloudminers mentioned is correct, the address validation is a new feature in MPOS, and much needed IMHO. Otherwise people do forget to set their payout address and we have to chase them down to get their coins. Stratum:

just what i thought. I guess it gives the pool ops a way to mine like crap for the first couple of minutes whilst the majority of miners are rushing to download a wallet. Well, unless the dev gives us wallet 15 minutes early, then we'll have plenty of time. |

Well, unless the dev gives us wallet 15 minutes early, then we'll have plenty of time.
