Due to someone asking for math homework, I was shocked at the amount of incorrect answers.

I'm curious here how 'skilled' at basic math a lot of people are here.

Please don't share answers in the posts below, I'm actually trying to see how 'smart' some people think they are.

Just because something is easy for you doesn't mean it's easy for others.

I HAVE SOMETHING ONLY FOR ELITE! :

Find the right 'x'.

x= z*y+v
z = sqrt(845+0.121)*33)
y = 2*sqrt [( sqrt(9768/1) * 4/sqrt(9768/1) )]
v = 2560

The answer will make you feel much better Smiley

4+10-1+(1089+2*33*2+4)*2=
13+2442=2455

and why it is that?
(33+2)2     =    1225 Smiley
sqr(33+2) = 1225 no doubt.
4+10-1+2450 = x  Smiley

4+10-1+(1089+2*33*2+4)*2=
13+2442=2455

4 + 10 - 1 + 35 * 35 * 2 = 2463

35 * 35 = 1225
1225 * 2 = 2450
2450+10+3=2463

P.S. 1089+2*33*2+4 = 1225

Because it's a binome (dunno the English word for it).

(a+b)2=a2+2*a*b+b2

(33+2) * (33+2) = 1225

nothing will change that.

That reminds me of another one, just as "easy" but sort of complicated in length (was 6th grade during some fun lesson by math teacher).

Replace every letter by a cipher so it becomes valid:
