Is BitCoin faucets really worth the time?

Well, I kind of wish I had done more faucets back in 2010/11 considering the value now. I guess the only reason I say this is because if you're really sure that the value of bitcoin is going to go up 100x or some similar amount then you can start to possibly justify spending on free time on faucets and saving the results for the future.

If I knew bitcoin will worth $1000 in Dec 2013, I would work overnight and do a few part-time jobs (rather than playing with faucets) in 2010 and put all my money in bitcoin.
Sadly, I didn't know bitcoin until 2013.

It depends on what you do with your time. If you would otherwise spend your time gambling or doing another -EV task then yes go ahead and fill in captcha's. If you have better options for your time like working or good quality entertainment then do that instead.

If you got nothing better to do, sure it's worth it. However you might lose the money already when you pay your bill for electrics.

You are better off working a min wage job for a month and buying your bitcoin that way. At least you might get free food out of your work place.

I'd say no. But, then again, they were worth it looking back to 2010 or 2011. And faucet payouts didn't seem like much back then. If bitcoin goes to $1 million, those satoshis will add up!

We had a team testing out faucets, and found many that did not pay out. Freebitco have the referal route, and it pays out when other people under you "roll" so you get coins for doing nothing.

It sure is a way for you to get satoshi, but it's very little. You might affort a BicMac burger after a month of click..click..click..every hour..on..hour.

Rather find a paying signature program or try to render some sort of service.

Not worth the time if you're looking to make money, however they might be fun to test out your wallet.

Check www.earnbtc.weebly.com if you want a list of better ways to earn BTC, earn sites rather than faucets. More profitable.

You will get paid if you choose your faucets carefully. Altho it's definitely not worth it for what, like 2 dollars per month, clicking constantly for 8 hours per day? :x

Many companies are currently hiring that offer to pay in Bitcoins such as writing companies. There's also often posts on the forum for small tasks that can be done for Bitcoins, generally .0001 btc (6 US cents) or .001 (60 US cents).

I reemmber back in 2012 you can could do surveys and get like .35 - .5 bitcoins
fark those were the days... only worth $2.50 at the time.. but now u'd only earn like 0.002 for them lol

you nsorta need to pay for bitcoins or sell goods for bitcoins.
but yeah stop wasting your time on them unless... if you are doing lots of testing go on test net.

It depends on how much bitcoin will be worth in the future.  Say you get 0.0001 BTC from a faucet, which is about 0.06 USD. Then if BTC will rise 100%, you'd have 6$ from the faucet. If that's worth your time depends completely on how much money you have
