If we extrapolate the past 24 hours worth of transactions, we get:

  • every 24 hours, 2.5 million $ worth of bitcoins change hands
  • that's a bit over $100K an hour of transactions
  • that's about $1 billion per year worth of transactions

A billion here and a billion there, and pretty soon you're talking real money

In the last 24 hours, price dropped 7%. If we extrapolate that for the next year, that means a BTC value of $0,000000000020. All the bitcoins in the world wouldnt buy you a can of coke.

Neither real, float nor double, simply int or or so.  Grin

The paining (sic!) is done with the QPainter class inside the paintEvent() method.
