I think you still can open the file which has private keys on notepad and import them on another wallet service. AFAIK Multibit can do it, so Armory should do it too. Don't worry. Smiley

Is Armory your first wallet? I would recommend you use Electrum instead. Armory is more suited for experienced users.

It's a lightweight client, which means that you don't need to sync and download all the blocks from the blockchain. It is very easy and simple to use, newbie-friendly. You can also choose to use change addresses or not easily and select the fee easily too.

If you are talking about a fee to use the wallet client, then no.

byt411 was talking about the bitcoin tx fee.

And also, multibit is planning to force higher tx fees, and the developers take a cut from that ^^.

Could you share a link for that? Okay, I found it myself. https://multibit.org/blog/2014/04/11/multibit-hd-brit.html
I don't think many people will be happy to pay that, even though it is just a very small fee...

Imagine the amount of people using multibit because they're too dumb to use electrum.
Imagine bitcoin mass adoption, and the majority using electrum.
The devs don't need any more money, lol.
