Diff port setup

Someone asked me to setup a +20000 diff port at Bitraise.me.

But i actually have no idea what that means. Do i need to adjust some difficulty or is this a network port configiruation setting?

Well, i guess it is the stratum mining vardiff configuration, but still dont know whats the correct setting regarding to what is asked as a +20000 diff.

In what way does min and max target diff relate to the amount of hashing power generated by the connected nodes?

Is there a comparison of best practices for setting min and max target diff and/or pool diff?

Will multiple stratum-mining services in the same MPOS pool conflict if users are connected to different stratum configurations?
