Hello to everybody,

...2 GridSeed...Raspbian...software..?

Andrea

http://hashra.com/support/

The so-called support page appears to be (mostly) spam.  The link entitled "GRIDSEED MINI SET UP GUIDE" leads to
https://mega.co.nz/#!K1AiQD7Y!xwo3kuWmmYMRrxkZQ4Oryv0fVKZRLXex33ImM_JGWjk
which offers an app to access the file (trojan? don't know, didn't go there)

In my search so far, I noticed some applicable posts elsewhere in the blog D4rkAng3l referenced:
http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/raspberry-pi-gridseed/
I'm still looking for more info about the gridseeds, but I'll give those images a try.

Straight from the Software section here

Minera, a web frontend built on Raspbian, allowing the use of BFGMiner, CGMiner, and CPUMiner for Gridseed.

You do know these are obsolete now? I shut mine off about 6 weeks ago. But if you insist on running them, use Hashra's SD card image for rPi. It's foolproof and stable.

http://hashra.com/support/

And don't try to mine SHA with them... strictly for Scrypt.

Agreed use either: Hashra Controla / Minera / Scripta / Starminer / Or just load up the forked version of cgminer and use plain wheezy for the OS.
Forked cgminer with gridseed support: https://github.com/dtbartle/cgminer-gc3355

I wouldn't say that, low power consumption is their strongpoint  Wink

They require a lot of cables & can take up abit of space, but still are viable  Grin

I might get a bunch of them again....if the price is right  Wink

I used CGminer,I think 3.7.1 & it was stable, just had to plug em in one at a time after starting CGminer  Roll Eyes

With bartle fork you just compile and go...no plugging steps needed. Overall hashra image for the Pi is my favorite though...so simple and stable.
