Thank you monbux!
I know theres a lot of scamming in the cryptoworld, but I figured if I do like 100 loans and a few default I can manage the risk just like fiat banks do.
BTCJam kinda died for me already :| So I've wanted to make up for the risk with sheer volume.

Be warned, if the scammers think you are easy prey they will line up in front of you and each ask you for a loan. And if you give it to them you can kiss that money goodbye. Non-collateralised loans to relatively new and untrusted members is rather risky, you'd have to make sure you choose you loans carefully (take a look at post history/activity/trust) before you loan. BTCJam has been a scammers haven. Personally I'd say with low interest rate loans like GBattaglia here you might be running a risk of a loss in the long term as your profits will probably be crushed by those scams which fall through the cracks.

Purpose: Daytrade Starter Amount: .25 btc (at the most, I realize you probably cant loan me this much) BTC Address: 19PAZggafCy4zGEBfpVqkLgtCA9LsJddAC Days to Repay: 5-6 will have extra funds by then, and I will have made money trading
I am looking to start day trading again, but have no easy way to buy bitcoin currently. I am trying to build a base that I can use to pay off the loan and start trading again. Thanks, Shrekster

1. Why is there no easy way for you to buy bitcoin? 2. How will you have extra funds in less than a week if you have no easy way to buy bitcoin currently? 3. You are trying to build a base? AKA your day to day trading are entirely dependent on this loan 4. What is your guarantee that you will pay this loan back? 5. Oh wait, you don't have a guarantee, you "word" won't count, so don't try. 6. Good luck on the loan!

I don't see how you will become profitable on this. I must admire you for helping others out who do not have collateral but loaning people these small amount of BTC, eventually they will add up to where you'll put down a loss. They may add up to the point where it's hard to keep up with identities and things. Nonetheless, good luck with sales!

What is it that I am missing out on Bitcoin casino gambling. I'm a longtime poster at SBR. They have a points system rewarding posters with points simply for logging on. Double points for "PRO" members. Some degenerates take a single point into the SBR casino. It's worth a couple cents, they hope to build on that. LOL. Just a thought, seeing these small loan requests reminds me of the SBR kiddies and their points. Surprised you didn't think of gambling, considering your signature.

That is a very good question to ask @sydboy. I've wanted to do similar loans as well (some posts above I had a question) but it doesn't look as if I will take this risk.
What can anyone do with ~5-20 bucks in the bitcoin world. Trading? You serious?
Even if I don't have proof, it seems likely that they are really just gambling these tiny amounts away..
Thanks for making me aware of what I did not want to see in hopes of a serious bitcoin investment.
@OP In case you ever even read my original question: if you dont have stats just forget about them. I read a lot more in this subforum after posting it and this is not what I expected it to be.

Likely: Trust purposes, gambling, building up/reputation loans, scamming, scamming, and did I mention scamming? Unlikely: Sometimes to cover up a miscalculated trade. That's really all I could think of.

Although I believe most micro loans go to gambling, you can actually trade with that said amount. OP's loan actually helped me so much that has multliplied itself an insane amount of times doing only trading. Sometimes a good opportunity comes in in the market and you happen to be out of BTC. 20 bucks can make a huge difference if a coin goes from 50 satoshi to 100k... (Example) Again, thanks op, your loan ended up providing me a unique profit.

I doubt many people are spending their 30 cents on some trading opportunity Yeah, because gambling out 30 cents is much more of a certain way to turn out a profit... Pfff.. I mean, don't get me wrong, but if you have the chance to take a loan with low interest and no collateral, shouldn't you be applying that into something a bit more assuring than gambling? Although I agree that some trading choices have a notch of luck, doing proper research raises your success chances in a way that can never happen with gambling. I question myself why would somebody ever loan out for those purposes. I do gamble myself sometimes, but there's no way I could take a loan for it. Gambling explains itself. You will always be losing if you like it too much. Asking a loan for it, well... I guess that also explains itself.

Reason For Loan: Someone here is offering information on a guy that scammed me. Friday is payday for me, but if my friend pays back I can payback fully by Wednesday.
Amount: 0.025
Address: 1234VUg2cdLVHkCBqg1UBQ4fN6B4JQpw4C
I don't know if you're needing one, but if you want a collateral lmk, I have an LTC wallet with .5, and an adfoc.us account with $6 in it (I can't just withdraw because you need $10 in earnings to withdraw).
