Do you think future employees of Fortune 500 companies will be paid in Bitcoin?
Do you think their employees will be happy to accept Bitcoin instead of a traditional paycheck?

I would say this is very unlikely, at least in the current ax environment. Taxes will be much too complicated if someone is paid in bitcoin as the number of transactions you would need to keep track of would be huge.
If bitcoin were to be taxed as a currency then possibly.
In theory someone could have their check direct deposited to their bank and setup a recurring buy on coinbase to automatically buy bitcoin on payday.

Do you think their employees will be happy to accept Bitcoin instead of a traditional paycheck? Bitcoin is to checking accounts what a solar/hydrogen fuel cell powered car is to a horse and carriage. So yes. Employees will accept nothing less than cryptocurrency in the near future, as all other forms of money will be obsolete, relative high-risk jokes by comparison.

Bitcoin is great, but as it stands, I wouldn't want to be paid in it. Just a matter of stability. Hopefully the value will even out.

I think so! At that time, Bitcoin is accepted as a currency by most of the governments and most of the goods and services is priced as bitcoin. Fortune 500 companies will pay exmployees bitcoin.

I'd accept it definitely. Now I really wish my paycheck was in BTC, instead I have to do wire transfers all the time.

If the price of bitcoin were to stabilize over a medium term would you then wish to be paid in it? The price may still vary several percentage points per month but the change in price would be very gradual.

If my boss offered me paycheck in form of BTC i wouldn't take it righ away as 10% in my house budget would mean life or death situation at end of the month (montly paychecks, not weekly as in america). I would accept part of my pacheck in BTC for now, and full when price stabilizes.

If big companies follow the lead of Expedia at a steady pace, I foresee a lot of big companies paying in Bitcoin...but only for those employees that prefer that. Definitely not as a company-wide policy.

I think this may be a "what came first, the chicken or the egg" type of situation. If people are paid in bitcoin then there will be an incentive for companies to accept bitcoin for payment. The reverse is true as well as if a lot of merchants accepted bitcoin for payment then people would wish to be paid in bitcoin.

related article: Blockchain.info CEO: We Pay Employees in Bitcoin. And Someday You Might, Too. http://www.entrepreneur.com/article/234463 Very few if any F500 companies will pay very few if any employees in BTC. A few may offer it and a few may accept.

Only if bitcoin becomes truly mainstream and the related tax / accounting issues are integrated into mainstream accounting software like Quicken. Right now, it'd be too much of an Accounting nightmare for a large company to do this.
