A rare coin with a charitable focus towards the field of archaeology.

Details:

Scrolls is a new, rare, fast cryptocurrency that utilizes the popular Scrypt algorithm.
Scrolls also includes Kimoto's Gravity Well (KGW) for efficient difficulty re-targeting after every block making multipool issues a thing of the past.
The Scrolls Foundation, which will be implemented shortly, will rely only on donations to support the YAC, Young Archaeologist Club http://www.yac-uk.org/.
Please consider donating 1 or more SCQ as often as you can.  (address and website coming soon)

Difficulty Re-target: every block w/ KGW
Confirmations: 3
Mined Block Maturity: 50 blocks
Block Halving Rate: Approx. every 4 years

What's the idea behind just 1 coin per block and the hundreds of years it will take to mine the total?

If you look at the chart in the OP you'll see that it is only about 30 years until the majority (6 million) of the coins are mined.  By that time the block reward will be so small that it will literally take hundreds of years to reach 7,000,000 SCQ.  The reason for the long block halving time of 4 years is to keep mining available in order to keep the block chain active far into the future.  The small reward of 1 coin per block is to simply provide rarity to the coin.

I find this to be pretty strange.....you're not responding to any of the concerns from the community and your not giving info on what is in the works for this coin, updates, plans.....nothing, but you ask for a pool to be setup while everyone is in doubt and running the opposite direction?!  All you said was "the coin is not dead, the wallet is syncing fine"......I'm sorry, but I don't get it.  It seems like you just expect this thing to go on it's own with very little involvement or work, maybe I'm missing something.

Hey Dev, did you receive my PM? I sent 500 Scrolls to AllCrypt yesterday and I was charged 64 Scrolls as the transaction fee. Luckily I was able to mine the next block which rewarded me 65 Scrolls or I would have been SOL. Has anyone else had this issue with transaction fees? Also I tried to send a larger amount to myself (another address) and the transaction failed each time I tried. Looks like there is a bug in the wallet that only allows transactions up to a certain amount. You may want to take a look at the code and see why if did this to me. Thanks.

HA!  Yeah been seeing you around a lot lately:-)  Fortunately I pulled away from this one and Waccoin really quick.  Only sitting on 69 Scrolls so not too bad, still really upsetting with something like this that seemed pretty promising and POOF the damn deve disappears:-(  At least I got back most of my lost coins from Waccoin, I lost 36 of them and they gave me back 32 of the ones I lost.  Not too hopeful for that one either though, too much does not make sense.  Think I only mined for 3 hours or so on that one so not a huge loss for me anyways if they go nowhere.

Hopefully for your sake, they make some headway........I know you devoted a bunch of resources to that one, fingers crossed for you on that!  I really did not like their post earlier stating that Waccoin Silver was a "trial" coin and I didn't even mine that, just flat our wrong and makes them seem very untrustworthy now!

Se you around I'm sure:-)
