This bot is just filling the order history with noise; slowing down the server and making the price chart less informative for the rest of us.

Here's the fix, Mt.Gox programmers:

Code:
$MIN_TIME_TO_NEXT_TRADE = $ARBITRARY_CONSTANT / $BITCOINS_IN_THIS_TRADE

If someone wants to trade 0.0001, they still can.  But they should then expect to wait 0.01/0.0001 (Using CONSTANT=0.01 for my example) or 100 seconds until their next trade.

For anyone trading a reasonable amount, the time would be so small that it wouldn't affect them.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

Or just raise the minimum quantity of an order to 1 BTC.

You can't win if you don't play. But you can't play if you lose all your chips. First I found bitcoin (BTC). Then I found something better, Monero (XMR). See GetMonero.org

People should still be able to trade small amounts.  We don't know what they're selling/buying so can't put a price on it.  However, that flexibility shouldn't be abused to spam the order book.
