Hey,

I have never used a coin faucet before and was curious as to how it works. The instructions on the site seemed straightforward enough, but when I entered my wallet address, I got a "you have exceeded your limit" message, was wondering what that was all about?

Thanks!

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Hi there,

It allows you to receive some free kiwi every 6 hours, its locked per person not per address so trying to claim more than once every 6 hours will produce that error.

Update:

Hi guys,

Looks like we have been listed on Bittrex! So you can now buy and sell your KIWI.

Also we are getting closer and closer for our next wallet release which should be finalized later on today hopefully so keep an eye out!

We'd really appreciate it if you kept us apprised of any mandatory wallet upgrades (support@bittrex.com).  Happy trading!

Cheers,
R.

Update:

Hi everyone!

First off we would like to thank you all for contributing and being a part of KiwiCoin! We know we started off with a bit of a hiccup and hopefully this post will address your concerns. Ideally in a perfect world the launch would have gone smooth and perfect but it was far from that. We tried our best and got it right the second time, but as a precaution the whole code has undergone a peer review between all of us to try and identify any other problems that may arise.

We wish to be as transparent as possible with you and keep you up to date as much as we possibly can, we may have been a bit slow but the amount of messages/e-mails/posts we have received was overwhelming to say the least. We have been pushed a bit behind because of this. Our main focus at the moment is to make sure all code is bug free and that all users wallets and services are working as they should. This does not mean development has stopped, just slowed a little while we deal with the influx of questions and query's.

Once again we would like to sincerely apologize for any hiccups and slowness in response to any messages/posts.

The new version of the wallet should also be ready soon (as it is being tested/debugged while we do an audit on our code). Please be reassured everything is working as is now, the audit is just to make sure no further problems occur with future updates.

Details on an iOS/Android wallet will also be released shortly as that is also in the pipeline.

Hopefully this post lets you all know what is happening right now as we speak so there is no doubt that we are fully committed to KiwiCoin and are as transparent as possible. Like always if you have any questions or query's please don't hesitate to post here, pm us or ask us on IRC.

Regards,
-Team at KiwiCoin

Thanks for the reply. However, this happened the first time I tried to use it, so what does "per person" mean?

Per IP address, we have had a couple of other reports of it not working for other people too so are looking into it as we speak.

Wow, this little kiwi is about to grow wings and fly to the moon, already about to hit 10gh, and is only a day or so old.

Edit : Logo creators need to get busy on a logo, Silverfern ftw!

Hi all,

This is Sunny from Crypteon Exchange. We want to clarify that we are not down, our php-fpm pm.max_children configuration was set too low, so it was stopping new connection to be made. Now we have changed the configuration to allow larger volume of traffic. Sorry for the inconvenience.

https://www.crypteon.net/markets/view/4 <======== We are not down, feel free to test it out =)

Best
Sunny

We are astounded at the amount of interest KiwiCoin has gotten and its only getting bigger Smiley

We are in talks with one of the guys that has designed a few logos so hopefully we have a update soon!

Thanks for that FredDag unsure if you got our reply? But was wondering if it was possible to have it a more green shade like the kind of green in current logo? and maybe the fern in black? If so flick us a pm.
