So the last couple months have been amazing opportunities to make money. My trading skills are really bad but I am good at seeing coins early, so I made about 10 btc - should have been much, much more of course.
Starting with BC huge pump and it's new ideas about pos/pow and multipools which spawned many coins which also pumped, coins like Naut and XBC which gave amazing returns for the savvy trader and early adopter, and culminating with last month's anonymity craze.
I'm not feeling it right now, wondering if I should just find something else to do and try back in a month or 2. I remember reading posts in the speculative subforum from a few people saying this scene was dying back in Feb/March, and boy were they wrong. That was probably a transitionary period that feels like now to me, were new ideas had been played out and the next innovations were yet to appear.
What do you think, is this done for a little while, a long while, or forever? because trading existing coins always results in much more stress than returns I'm only in it for jumping on early coins, otherwise I'm out.

I've been burnt by almost every dabble in alts so decided I'd only bother getting in on the ground floor. It feels a little like the volume of pumps, scams and noise is reaching unsustainable levels but you never know, it might just get louder.

NEM stakes are out there. I signed up for one originally and will buy another if the price is right. Considering the amount of interest it's garnered so far the odds are good that you will gain.

NXTL/Node is still at the very earliest stages. It's having a few wobbles but there might be a lot of upside. I'm sure there are plenty more if you know where to sniff.

It felt like that the last several weeks, right now to me it feels like the party's over.

What now?  Be happy that you got so much in such a messed up scene? I think that’s a good start. 10 BTC isn’t chumps change you know? Sure it could be more, but let’s be honest, it could also be much less or even in the negative.

That said, I think the obfuscation in this scene will continue for a while so there’s likely to be more opportunity for early cash-ins for a while.

I don't even know what to look for in new coins anymore. Right now I'm just browsing the announcements pages for any new idea each morn and that's it.
I saw XC really early and bought 10k at 4000 sat. I dumped them when they hit 20 and made a couple btc. I kept reading and decided it was a scam and stayed out, which was a horrible mistake. I used my earlier winnings to buy back in at 100k and held to the crash. I think I made another .5 btc. I realize many lost tons on xc and I made some, but I am absolutely heartbroken I didn't hold my earlier coins and do much more with it. I fear it's the last chance I will get at a big one for a long time.

Old coins are out, ones esp ones with an already high mkt cap and have shown the volatility that NXT has shown since Dec   Shocked
I wish bagholders the best, that's not my game. If you told me about NXT in Dec when it was .01 I'd be all over it.
