indeed, so much can be gained or lost in such a quick time with altcoins. i sometimes get down on myself over missed opportunities, but there is quite a lot of risk involved.

Highest loss was 420million Polycoin when the price tanked to 0 Satoshi.
This is the first time I'm not feeling bad about someones loss..! I have seen you posting how Polycoin is the future in many posts..! Interesting, because I gained millions a few days after posting that...when Polycoin went to 80,000 satoshi. |

i don't like to think about this one. when bitcoin was rallying in early march, i thought it was a fakeout. i shorted at 585, stopped out my position and lost $1500 in about 30 minutes.  |

Yeah BurtW lost a few more than me, but probably because he got in earlier. I didn't get in until May and that was stupid. I should have doubled and ran but max.btc didn't respond to my PMs since he ran off with the money most likely. Let's go buy some pitchforks and fly down to Texas, we can bring Chuck Norris with us  |

$185,000.00 USD in a real estate transaction that soured. That one hurt! In US real-estate that's not that bad. We have 1 home that was bought for 600K and went down to 330K at one time. It's still about 110K under. |

An expensive but worth lesson. I have learned not to touch ponzi schemes even if BTC is only $6 and I was minting 10 BTC a day |

Decided to play around with forex trading back in 2011. Lost about $200 in the space of three days, or about $100 in one. Fortunately made most of it all back a few days later, withdrew it all, and never traded forex again. |
