Am I completely mistaken, or is Deepbit truely down?  Huh

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Is deepbit down? I don't know.

Use pit.deepbit.net:8332 as it will automatically switch you to another server if the main is downed.

We had a couple of short service interruptions caused by a "maintenance" at one of datacenters.
If you don't want to spread false alarm, you need to check the pool's thread first :)
