From here: http://www.numbersleuth.org/worlds-gold/
you get an existing gold world stock of 530,487,318.9 troy ounces.
Dividing that for the 21,000,000 BTC due to come in existence, you get:
>252 gold ounces per BTC
 Cool

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Numbers for a cans of soda in my fridge BTC standard

I have 8 12 oz sodas in my fridge. (96 oz total)
There will be 2100000 BTC eventually
Each ounce of soda is worth 175K BTC!
Thats more than $0.5MM each!

My math made as much sense as yours did.  Want to buy a can of my soda for a steal at 10BTC?  Free shipping!
