As quite new to scene, I'm curious how "older members", talked to each other about bitcoin in past. What number did you use? I doubt it was satoshi or microBTC in yr 2010, because it was worthless, right? so since when is satoshi used?
thanks for opinions

After 1 November 2008. They mostly talked about bitcoin in the early days, from what I've heard faucets used to give 1 btc. Before january 2013 btc used to be about $13, so it would be straightforward to talk about bitcoins as units. In october 2013 they used to be about 100$ so it would still be ok; Then it went straight up to 1000, so people would talk about x btc. In initial years[although I think these are initial years too] when bitcoin worth less than a $ at that point of time talking about satoshis might sound totally absurd..! but these units was defined at that time i. 1 BTC = 1 Bitcoin ii. 1 mBTC = 10^(-3) Bitcoin iii. 1 μBTC = 10^(-6) Bitcoin iv. 1 Satoshi = 10^(-8) Bitcoin I hope someday 1satoshi will have some value...but will i'll stay alive to see that day , hmm I doubt that..

If 1 satoshi is 1$ then 1 bitcoin is 100.000.000$ If 1 satoshi is 0.01$ then 1 bitcoin is 1.000.000$ The latter could happen, maybe in 15 years

I started actively participating in bitcoin discussions, and there were talks about satoshi and milibits as units on places like coinchat.. In May, 2013.

People have used mBTC, uBTC, and Satoshi's as units for years.
SatoshiDice is named after the fact that when you lose they would send you 1 satoshi as a signal that they received your wager but you didn't win. And that was a long time ago.
