TestNet Question

My friend's doing a testnet bitcoin transaction and its show the transaction went through but its taking way long there 1 hour to be confirmed ( been like 20 hours!) . Anyone know what he is doing wrong ?

Nothing, but there are hardly any miners on the testnet network. This may result is very large variations in confirmation speed.

Thanks this might be the reason ...it's just strange because some on the testnet have been confirmed 1,000 times but these one's are taking forever...
