It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Mintpal just added N5X...

Madness!
Mintpal has been crazy already for some time but N5X makes no sense.

Mintpal will be adding Voot when market place is ready. Why would you expect them adding us today? Anyway, good that they didn't add us today. I hope that stupid people who are only harming the coin will stay away from it. When they don't stay away, you have price jumps like recently. Now we can continue to grow in a stable manner.

R U sure Mintpal will add voot when vootmarket place is ready? I am afraid MP ignore us deliberately. Cry

We're on the rise now. The dump is over. You can see the uptrend building slowly. Volume will pick up, eventually they will. And the longer they delay, the better.

The more the hype the better the rise. In fact I hope they begin to consider Voot after it hits 5K not before. Even better if 10K given coin do and will come down on MP. There are too many sheep on MP they follow the crowd, so this cycle puts coins down faster on MP than any other exchange. Better not being added until 15K in my opinion. In fact I reckon the dev should strictly refuse MP trading rights of his coin. Create exclusivity, imagine a coin saying no to an exchange. Because it knows its good enough to survive without one. Voot could be that coin. Not just another coin to take advantage of. I reckon for selecting other coins over Voot. The dev should seriously issue a statement denying MP from additions, until the coin hits a certain price. Then if they want to they can add it.

I know it sounds bizzare. but think about the history that will be made. The coin will become famous overnight only because it was the only one that refused and denied MP additions. This will make Voot soo famous that we wouldnt need a marketing campaign. We just made a statement like no other.

I agree - the higher the price when Mintpal adds us the better. If they add us today, the price would jump to 3000 satoshi, which might be not as satisfying. If they add us after we climb to 5000 satoshi, the price might jump to 20 000 or higher. So I agree it is better that they are ignoring us now.

why is volume dropping?

Because noobs already left (sold at a loss, lol) and smart trades are not willing to sell their coins but don't have any more BTC to buy more. Wink

It doesnt matter what my point is. Whatever I will say, you will cry FUD, with lots of bad language.
Just think about it why VOOT is not added for 2 weeks already. There must be a reason.
And Troiste/Sovie: not any coin where your friend IE is on, is added to Mintpal  Wink

Mintpal is a different exchange now.
People agree that they are adding shitcoins recently (and I am not saying it just because they did not add Voot).
Because of those decisions they already lost the first place among exchanges (based on Volume), like Cryptsy did some time ago.

And as for IE I am not sure - but didn't he actually sold the coins already?

Will we need Multisig tech for voot on the cjdns network?

In reality, how fast can transactions be processed with VootCoin? A big part of merchant acceptance is the convenience and ability to implement, fast transaction processing is an important factor (speed + privacy = good combo). From a security point of view, and ability to perform large transactions. are there any plans to have multisig?

Or is this part of the Hyperboria network?
