Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

What's your advantage of this?

A study if there is some trust left in the gambling section?  Grin

I obviously trust you with something this small lol. https://blockchain.info/tx/3d8f83c6adc944ee1ebee131ae8b218c8b0e7ecb25f595612824540742d91683
So much trust in fact, don't even double my btc... just send the 0.005 BTC back Tongue

But this really does not prove anything.  Trusting someone with $3 is a lot more different than trusting someone with $10000 or something Tongue

Exactly and more of a test of trust. That is the point that I am trying to make.

And what's that?
even when it's a little money you shouldnt give it to a untrusted person?
Because you wouldn't send him 1000 BTC ether?
Maybe it's something to think about, because it can look like a small amount you would send him.
But would you send him a big amount and expect your money back?
Why would you expect it with a smaller amount then?
Good point.

Well a micro amount is not a true test and no one would send my ridiculous amount either. It would be great research to see where the line became obfuscated but you would need a large random sample and a whole lot of, in this case, btc to reach any meaningful conclusion.

In my case the most that I have trusted is 3.3 BTC paying for a service in advance to an anonymous vendor. I did put a lot of trust into him/her and he/she did not disappoint. In my reality most people I deal with are 100% trustworthy.
