It doesn't look like this is posted in the "Games & Rounds" section yet so here it is: Cloudbet is giving away 100 BTC to anyone who guesses all matches correctly in the world cup. It's definitely unlikely to win but its far more possible than the NCAA tournament and 100 BTC is a nice stack of coin. Nice contest, but doesn't seem you have to guess winner of every match in the first phase just winners and runner ups of each group. Anyway tried my luck, made very safe and predictable choice that has no way of happening  I will try and verify exactly how you win the 100 BTC |

It looks like as of now, you must pick all games correct to win the 100 BTC. It's still worth a shot though since its free. |

As I've posted in other threads, because I think this is totally misleading, if you win (a very very long shot) then there is a 10x rollover to get your 100 BTC out of Cloudbet. I'm sure they hoped no one would notice this but I'm a lawyer...haha so I checked the terms and conditions.

I just saw how other people were hating on this contest in the other Cloudbet thread and I just don't get it.
Like some people saying "Oh they're not going to pay out"
Well there are actually insurance companies out there that specialize in stuff like this. The company offering the promotion (i.e. Cloudbet, or even at a basket ball game, someone offers 1 million to one person who can make a half court shot, the odds of that happening are also really small) pays a fraction of the actual prize to the insurance, just in case someone actually hits the winning combination or makes the winning shot. If they do the insurance company pays out the prize, if not they keep the fee the other company paid.
Also, I think you guys underestimate how much people gamble, I think it's estimated that more than half of all bitcoin tranactions have to do with gambling o.o and the house always wins, sooo...
Cloudbet could probably pay this their self if someone actually won.
Anyway, I entered, it's free. People who bitch about free stuff are dumb.
