Second payment received, see http://blockr.io/tx/info/09898f3e5e9763adf8c8fb5aeceac923a26a16bbafcd0b98a27189ce91c31e1cIf I use that number for 52 payments then the end result should be around 0.7BTC with an investment of 0.4BTC (1Mhs). Not going to speculate about reward dropping or not. Asics have an effect, but asics might also drive out a lot of GPU users making mining more rare. Also, bitcoin is rising, altcoins are falling behind. If that changes at some point altcoins might gain on btc and seriously up the reward. So, honestly, I can't tell what will happen

So.... hardware is cheaper then cloud mining?! Gosh, what a revelation. It's like going to the car dealer, point to a self driving car with fuel, insurance and a garage all-in, and complain that it's overpriced because it's more expensive then a car without all those extra's. I don't have a garage and I can't afford the fuel, so why exactly is it overpriced?

So, okay, hosted hardware then But yes, you're right. Just getting tired of all the sillies comparing cloud mining to hardware mining, so forgive me for reading your message only halfway through. Still, I like to spread my investments, so I'm not looking for the cheapest of the cheapest and toss all my coins in there. I'm perfectly fine with less profit and more security to balance the more risky investments.

There is no way we can compete with a company that 'makes' mining hardware.
What we do and they don't is check what is the most profatible to do.
For this week we sit around a payment of 0.03BTC per MH per 24hour. A lot more then regular mining.

0.03 is an ecxellent result. And no, you cant compete with manufacturers, which means you have to stick out somehow. Results like this help.

Cost per mH at FERMining.com is ridiculously high. $260 per mH? There is no need to spend over $80 per mH for hosted scrypt mining and there are reputable, established services selling for as little as $25 per mH. You just need to search out the best providers.
