In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

Never heard of an ATI 5780?  Are you sure of its name.  Also you might want to mine Litecoin on your CPU while your GPU mines Bitcoin.

5770 should be getting around 200 MH/sec.  Try changing some of the cgminer settings like intensity.

Also, run one of the ATI tools to make sure your GPU clock speed is correct.

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

5770 should do ~215 MH depending on clocks
Then put that number here:
http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator.php

And you get ~0.16 BTC per day on average.

Of course much depends what pool you are mining on, there could be a big variability, some days making nothing, others 3-4x as much.

If you want a simple to use miner, check the one in my sig.

Go visit the cgminer thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.0

You're going to have to experiment with different settings.  Just don't go crazy; try them one at a time.

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.
