^^^ probably the work of Al Shabab (the Somali Islamist Group). The region around Lamu is inhabited by ethnic Somalis as well. Boko Haram is not active outside Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon and Chad.
Indeed it seems like that. Al-Shabab militants are suspected of having carried out the attack But still the attack happened in Nigeria and those guys will be target as well if finally the western forces decide to intervene. And we have the cause of the attack as well: He said Mpeketoni was a mainly Christian community.

Boko Haram is, without question, a danger to all people who do not accept the false interpretations of the written works of the prophet Kutam. It is however, just one small part of a orthodox movement within a religion which has the objective of dominating the world. Most Muslims would like to see this ambition achieved through peaceful means. However, there are many, who despite a good education, hold violence for a justified means to an end.

Some of the high tanking officials within the Nigerian Army, belonging to the Hausa and Fulani ethnic groups are suspected of aiding the Boko Haram, by leaking the army attack plans. The other ethnic groups such as the Igbo and the Ijaw are unhappy about this.

Is Boko Haram a mobile group? How do they feed such a large amount of people? Or do they have a home base? And if they do have a home base, why hasn't it been raided yet?
Just introducing about Boko Haram, Boko Haram promotes a version of Islam which makes it "haram", or forbidden, for Muslims to take part in any political or social activity associated with Western society. This includes voting in elections, wearing shirts and trousers or receiving a secular education. Boko Haram regards the Nigerian state as being run by non-believers, even when the country had a Muslim president.

Boko Haram regards the Nigerian state as being run by non-believers, even when the country had a Muslim president. I also want to say little about history of Boko haram. The Congregation of the People of Tradition for Proselytism and Jihad known by its Hausa name Boko Haram, is a terrorist organization based in northeastern Nigeria. The group is known for attacking churches, schools, and police stations. The group also kidnaps western tourists and has assassinated members of the Islamic establishment who have criticized the group. Violence linked to the Boko Haram insurgency has resulted in an estimated 10,000 deaths between 2002 and 2013.

Boko Haram blamed for Nigeria village attacks; 15 killed, chief kidnapped. They burned a local traders market, several homes and a church, said residents who survived the Sunday attack on the remote Christian village of Daku in the district of Askira Uba. "The gunmen looted food items and money left by traders while fleeing the attack," eyewitness and resident Andrew Musa said of Sunday's violence. "They pursued people who attempted to flee into nearby bushes and shot them. We recovered 15 bodies from the bushes after the attack, including that of the village chief," http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjW6U-ni4B0

All villages in the area should be given something valuable with a GPS device in it. When members of Boco Haram steal it they will easy for the drones to find.

Yeah, I have said something similar too, although try should have implanted a tracker chip into the gitmo detainees especially the numb nut who’s leading isis right now. Would have easily located them and evaporated them from existence.

The Boko Haram doesn't steal anything other than girls and women. How you'll attach GPS devices to them? BTW.... the Nigerian army clearly knows where are the Boko Haram hide-outs located. But they don't have the balls to attack them on their strongholds.
