{ Imagine a sequence of bits generated from the first decimal place of the square roots of whole integers that are irrational numbers. If the decimal falls between 0 and 5, it's considered bit 0, and if it falls between 5 and 10, it's considered bit 1. This sequence from a simple integer count of contiguous irrationals and their logical decimal expansion of the first decimal place is called the 'main irrational stream.' Our goal is to design a physical and optical computing system system that can detect when this stream starts matching a specific pattern of a given size of bits. bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=166760.0 } Satoshi did use a friend class in C++ and put a comment on the code saying: "This is why people hate C++".

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I've never heard of Monoprice before, but I just looked at the website since you posted this thread and they have some really nice stuff. It would be cool if they accepted BTC. Are there any talks of that, or are you just speculating?

isn't monoprice a chinese company that sells accessories and cables? either way though, doesn't seem like they get enough volume to be of any real news. we're all hoping for a gamechanger like amazon, ebay or facebook.

Maybe not real news...but a decent shopping option for audio/video cables, etc...

why ask us? you'll be better off asking them, and adding in hints on how easy it is to implement by linking them to coinbase/bitpay. sitting around asking outsiders, while not informing insiders is a waste of time

I would buy all my computer accessories exclusively from them if they did that.

I think if anybody contact their support about this, they may put an option. I've never heard of Monoprice before, but I just looked at the website since you posted this thread and they have some really nice stuff. It would be cool if they accepted BTC. Me too looked at the website when I saw this post. When I searched I found 3 links: 1 2 3Kindly, Muhammed Zakhir

Never gonna happen. The fees are too high. 3% for Monoprice to cash out, and another 3% the customer eats to cash in. Might as well just use a credit card.

It seems like something bigger is going to happen: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=643196.msg7183951#msg7183951A friend who is the marketing manager for a major hotel / events chain in Miami (they hosted the Bitcoin conference attendees at the Miami conference, including the Ethereum team, etc) posted on his facebook this week that there will be a significant announcement "monday" related to another major major business accepting Bitcoin. He feels the current price will be a thing of the past. EDIT: since he posted it publicly, here you go: https://www.facebook.com/jeffturgeau.clevelanderI challenged him pointing out that the Paypal/Ebay announcement was pretty friggen huge, and the price didn't really go anywhere except up 20-30 dollars. Sometimes people say the price will skyrocket, but they don't necessarily have good judgment on that, and it doesn't happen. They think it should go up, but other things are at play and it barely moves, even if the news is good. We've seen that *a lot* recently.

Let's not get too excited; that email sounds like it was authored by a ticket-tracking bot. You could probably email them about how much you'd like to lick their toes and get the same email back.

I don't understand it " how they get bitcoins " if they are not accepting it yet.? Take a look at this guy posts. He posts just one phrase non sense , probably to build up activity.
