According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Hi there folks.

Well, seems to me that there's way too little activity on this thread; which is a bit worrying.

I think you guys should start getting busy trying to get as many people interested in this coin as you can.

Start a promotion (not just dumping coins on everybody who says something nice about XFB), create a proper website, show the people what the goals are and what is being done to achieve those goals, hand out t-shirts with XFB on it to students, create a social event where people will be able to buy stuff with XFB (hell, have some XFB coins made, exchange them for real USD/EUR or whatever currency is used where you live/the event is being held, and give them a coupon of some sort they can redeem and receive 1.000 XFB in their wallet), talk to the community, listen to and implement what the user of your coin wants out of this coin....

If you guys don't step it up, you will die a sad sad cryptodeath, just like 124.593 others before you...

Hope to hear from the dev/community soon...

Lets go and get XFB to Tha Moon and way way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy beyond Smiley

Hey BuckSnot... Have seen your name come and go the past week on 777 pool. Nope, you didn't mine for nothing. Have the same problem; no network found or something like that. It was working up until yesterday. So you're good.

Sure hope the dev will fix it...soon!

Close to 250.000 XFB now. Would like to have at least 500.000 and if possible close to a million. And then hope the dev will actually put in work, get this coin properly distributed, make sure it starts and continues to be used, and then gain value. I won't dump the coin. Don't know how the dev is planning on paying the 10% interest, but I'll hold a XFB-load of coins for sure Wink

Yea I have been mining in all of the pools and solo too, I have (had) over 1.3 mil now, was hopeing the dev would do something great with this coin, it's been Down for about 12 hr now from what I can tell and still no word from dev? Not getting a good feeling bout it this...

3TON3, the dev does not pay you 10% the coin does with proof of stake when your wallet is open and unlocked, it will create blocks giving you a small % of new coins each time ;]

Right. Never really got that part.
So if I have 250.000 XFB in my wallet, the blockchain knows those coins are in my wallet? And then when new coins/block are created, I'll get 25.000 coins in my wallet automatically?

It's for each transaction for a 100 coin block I'm getting about .084 and it starts 3 days of coins being in wallet
I would explain it better if I wasn't driving ;]

Yep... texting while driving seems like a real bad idea indeed.
I think I got it... But if you care to explain it a little more when NOT driving, it'd be appreciated Wink

P.S.: dev better starts to make a move or two to get stuff fixed. Or maybe we should consider a hostile takeover and actually make this coin work Smiley

Dev, do you know why all the wallets crashed and the linux wallets won't start again? My win wallet shows the same unconfermed coins for 20 hrs and if I try to send to many coins (40%+) transaction fails

UPDATE: I got most all of my coins transferred to another wallet but most transactions I had to do 50k & 75k at a time so I didnt get a error, I also have 123701.79 XFB Unconfirmed transactions from when the blockchain rolled back a few thousand blocks and 47 transactions never got sent from the pool + the day of wasted rental hash wasted ;] ---> F7nc7EgvK1UrqPJiABQ4RLryhfGJvtE7Ve

Well stuff is happening in my wallet.
There's XFB going to Stake, and then return to Balance? Not sure how it works with the 10% interest... But it started this morning.. And it's been going since.

Yep thats how it works it takes coins moves them into stake for 50 blocks and pays you a little extra coins each time depending on the transaction amount. It also creates new blocks just like mining so when Proof of work [POW] ends the coin will still be mining using only the open wallets for making new blocks, these new POS blocks do raise the hashrate and diff of the network thats partly why I sent my coins diffrent wallet so I am only creating 100xfb blocks insted of competing against my wallet for now getting .084 coins a block ;] at 750,000 blocks the coin will be in pure pos mode no matter how many pow blocks and pos blocks, the staking starts at 3 days and I guess after 100 they dont stake anymore on this coin? not real sure if thats the case should be able to send them to yourself or a diffrent wallet and back to get the staking process to start over. any other questions ill do my best to answer ;]

Is there anybody here who actually believes this coin will make it this way? No seed nodes, no inventions, no progress being made whatsoever.... It's making me think I should go and mine another coin...
