or should i stick with the big pools even though they charge a bit.

I do have two gpu's (6950 and 6850) so maybe the other can try a new pool
Remember that Bitcoin is still beta software. Don't put all of your money into BTC!

I would definitively go either P2Pool or simplecoin.us (has 0% fee)
