Looking at the long term charts in detail I'm beginning to wonder if in fact we have hit the bottom...hmmm...

Selling pressure has dropped significantly. Though I would not discount another large sell or two either.

Yea Im thinking along the lines of another bounce or 2 off the bottom (assuming we've hit the bottom).

The new Bitcoinica interest rate indicator is showing they have enough USD reserves now. It is quite possible we are at the bottom and those with shorts from $6 will be liquidating soon.

I know that if it goes lower, I have money ready to invest. So maybe I'm generalizing.
Anyone in the same case?

Ditto.  When the price is $2, buy $2000 worth for 1000 BTC, wait till price is $10, sell for $10,000.  The price sways up and down often enough to be reliably unstable and there is so much money to be made in this system.

I also have some money sitting in couple of exchanges, along with bitcoins.
And some more money in transit via dwolla.
Whichever way the market goes, they are ready to be traded Smiley

My bet is on down, bounce back from about 4.2, reach the resistance line around 4.4 forming a triangle and then down, down, down Smiley

Do you think it will ever go up above $5 again?

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.
