I made a posting on my blog this week at http://www.impulsecorp.com/what-is-the-next-big-thing about how the Cryptocurrency industry is similar in many ways to how the Web was back in 1995 when I first started my Internet business. I feel a similar sense of excitement and opportunity, and I have not felt that in a long time. I would be interested if anybody has any comments about what I wrote on my blog. I am not in the Cryptocurrency business (I run over 300 unrelated websites) and don't have ads on my blog, so I have no hidden agenda.

The article's pretty good!
Cryptocurrency is definitely still in it's infancy.

Also, Congrats on now accepting Bitcoin on your CheapFlowers site.

Nice Article. And I understand how you feel. Just one question.. @Impulsecorp.. If you would recommend one altcoin, which one would it be for a newbie investor? Huh Roll Eyes

I really have no idea. I am more into the various business opportunities that the cryptocurrency market presents right now. I don't follow the prices or ups and downs of specific altcoins.

Reading through the first paragraph of your articles remind me with a cool bitcoin video

Its pretty hard to put everything together when you're just starting to join the cryptoworld.

Very good article tho.

@dbshck - Thanks, I had not seen that video before. Cryptocurrency also reminds me of dial-up BBSs, which were popular before the modern Web was around. I used to dial in on a very slow modem (with all sorts of beeping noises) to download text files (like of jokes) or .exe game files (like Leisure Suit Larry) or all sorts of weird stuff. Every BBS was a wild experience, and there were very few central lists of what you could find where (most people would only call a BBS in their area code so it did not cost money [phone calls were expensive back then]).

The average person did not have the know-how (or desire) to use a BBS, so it was something special to connect to one.

- Eric
