from the STAT page, there're 10104 new registered ids in 2014-03-10.
but from the member list page, there're only several hundreds in that day(around page 8900 if sorted by register time).
which one is correct?

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

sorry, it's about 4500 from member list, not several hundreds,
so, it's due to the time zone?

Possible.
Btw, it seems 99.9% of the accounts registered on Mar 9 and Mar 10 are made with bots with meaningless names like "iyeiao6hv8" and "wjho3f8dy". https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=mlist;sort=registered;start=268200

IMO, theymos should prune those accounts (no activity at all after almost 3 months)
