It doesn't look like anyone started a topic on Scam Accusations so I have taken the liberty to bring attention to the ShareXcoin scam.

It has been offline for the last 5 days and the developer isn't returning messages.

Anyone who has information on this exchange or its developer are welcomed to reply to this message.

I like TRON.

I have doxed this person already and talked to a relative on the phone, if you would like to form a group and take action against them I would be more then willing to help. I have a way to sue this person as a group, and possibly collect the funds back. I am just looking for more info, to build upon what I already have.

BOUNTY

I lost 23,154,968.33 QORA to ShareXcoin and I pledge half of any portion of those funds recovered as a bounty.

I don't think that should apply to disbursement from the seized Poloniex funds or to donations.

Let's create a publicly accessible online document so we can gather the losses and calcuate how much he went away with.

Here's the one I started for Btc-arbs and gise87 optimized.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lSUi0_1bqe0sv5XI4EvXWPcWI7fwnJbFQY-kMsYxp10

OP should update his post with bounties, legal moves and everything else that could be important. Thankfully I personaly didn't trade more than some mBITs. That's just my case though, people have lost thousands in worth of $ there. As I've said before, we really need to get organised together if we want so see shed some light onto this.

I would be happy to help you get guys into a actionable group, I charge a 15% of the recovered funds plus whatever fee's I incur with a retainer up front. The retainer varies on how hard I think it is going to be to locate this person. I have already located this person so the retainer will not be to high.
People outside of the U.S. would be able to join the group the way it would be formed.

It would be set up in such a way that we form a entity, with a Revocable clause built in for non-performance. Pretty much if I do not do what I say I am going to do, in the set time I say I am going to do it, you get your asset back. If I do what is in the contract I get the 15% out of all assets before they are distributed.

It looks like this was a US hosting company. I would think if someone filled a police report that they could get the records from that company.

The people who ran this scam probably used stolen credit cards and proxies to remain anonymous. I doubt anyone will get they money back. I had 1 BTC on that site.

I just accept the loss as part of the game.

The saddest part of the whole this was they were growing quite fast. They looked to be the next exchange with enough volume that you could get lots of coins before the coin moved on to bittrex or polo. They could have ran a way better scam that lasted months. Get cheap coins, fake volume, bribe bittrex and dump. They would have made way more money without being such a blatant scam.

No they used a landline registered to someone, I tracked the land line they used to specific person and offered to buy the website from them. I think they got wise cause they never called back, but I have this person full info.

Poloniex just told me this:

Quote
We have decided the best way to handle the QORA issue, is to relinquish the confiscated funds to the Qora foundation.  It is the most fair way for us to handle this matter.

It is physically impossible for us to identify and authenticate individual claims.

We are an honest firm, and will always do what is best for the community.

At this moment, the funds are still in our possession, and I encourage you to follow our public announcements on our homepage.

I feel like the people in charge of Qora (and most of the Qora community) are eager to use these stolen coins in a way that will benefit them.  No one seems interested in reimbursing those to whom the coins actually belong.  For now, we should simply hold the coins until we can figure out a better plan.

I lost 23M+ Qora and this is the first time I've asked for donations:

QaHKYRitoQRx8o5SxXhLeSG6ERozqLj75p

I now own zero Qora because of this and the thought of my stolen coins going toward benefiting the same project I had invested heavily in is infuriating.

They are just turning the funds over to the qora foundation? If so you need to contact them and make a claim against your rightful property. The qora foundation needs to hold these coins and pay claims with them.

Who should I contact?  I've contacted Poloniex and received the above in response.  I've also posted all over the Qora thread.
